I was starting to feel like Cash was sleeping better when we were not in the bed. He goes to sleep around 7pm and sleeps until about 11 or 12, which is when I usually go to bed. Once I'm in bed he wakes up more often and tosses and turns. I however am not ready for him to be in a different room as me! So we did the next best thing, side carred his crib to our bed! So its basically like a big co-sleeper. He has his space, we have ours, yet he's still only an arm's reach away. We are on night two of the side carred crib, and he's doing great! I am not! I slept half way in his crib last night and spent more time staring at him and checking on him then I did sleeping!
^ This is what it looks like ^We took the front side of his crib off and bungeed his crib to the side of our bed. We have a loft style bed so there was a bit of a gap between our mattresses because of the side railing on our bed, so we bought a pool noodle and wrapped it in a blanket to fill the gap.
